By accessing or using JPEG Compress at webpcompress.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to every tool on the site, including the WebP Compressor and the JPEG compressors for 20KB, 30KB, 50KB, 80KB and 100KB targets.

JPEG Compress provides free, browser-based tools that reduce the file size of WebP and JPEG images. All compression is performed locally in your browser using client-side technology. Your images are not uploaded to our servers.

We may add, change, or remove tools and features at any time without notice.

Because processing happens on your device, we never receive, store, or have access to the images you compress. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on the limited information we may collect, such as basic analytics and cookies.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your files. Since we do not hold them, we cannot recover lost or overwritten images.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you have no right to use.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service in a way that harms its performance.
• Resell, redistribute, or present the Service as your own without our written permission.

You retain all rights to the images you process. We claim no ownership or license over your files, since they never leave your device.

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any image you compress with the Service.

The Service, including its design, branding, text, graphics, and code, is owned by JPEG Compress and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service except as permitted by these Terms or by law.

Our tools aim to bring images close to a chosen size target (for example 20KB or 100KB). Because results depend on image content, dimensions, and format, we do not guarantee that any output will meet an exact file size, visual quality level, or the requirements of a specific website, portal, or application form.

Compression is lossy and may reduce image quality. Always review the result before submitting it anywhere important.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JPEG Compress and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including rejected uploads or applications.

The Service may use third-party services (such as font providers or analytics) or link to external sites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service at any time, including for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
