When you select or drop an image into any of our tools, the file is read and processed by JavaScript running on your own device using browser technologies such as the Canvas API.

• No uploads. Your original and compressed images are not transmitted to, stored on, or viewable by us or any third party through our tools.
• No accounts. You don't need to register, sign in or provide an email address to use any tool.
• Temporary by nature. Images exist only in your browser's memory during your session. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.

Because we don't operate user accounts or receive your files, the information we handle is minimal.

Information you provide

We do not ask you to submit personal information to use the tools. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, which we use only to reply.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical data when a page is requested, such as:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Browser type, device type and operating system
• Pages visited, referring page, and date and time of the request

This data is used for security, reliability and understanding general traffic, and is not linked to the images you compress.

Any limited information we receive is used only to:

• Deliver, maintain and secure the website and tools
• Understand overall usage so we can improve performance and add useful tools
• Respond to messages and support requests
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud or technical problems
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your images for any purpose, including training of AI or machine learning models.

Our tools work without requiring cookies. However, the site or its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies, for example to measure aggregate traffic or to remember simple preferences.

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent the compression tools from working.

• Hosting / CDN provider — delivers the site and may keep server logs.

These providers have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. Our site may also link to external websites we don't control; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Our site is served over HTTPS so that traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted. Because your images never leave your device, the main risk of file exposure that exists with upload-based tools simply does not apply.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited data we handle.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing.

Since we hold very little personal data, the most common situation is an email you sent us. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Our tools are general-purpose and not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add tools or change service providers. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the revised policy.
